Consumption of grapes and products derived from them

The benefits observed during the discovery of the French paradox result particularly from the considerable consumption of grapes and red wine, but also from particular dietary behavior.

Today, as our lifestyles and dietary habits evolve, this tendency can be seen to be being reversed:

   - Reduction in the consumption of wine,

   - Reduction in the consumption of other major sources of polyphenols, such as fruit and vegetables,

   - Sedentary lifestyle,

   - etc.

These are changes over recent decades that are leading to our organism being less protected against oxidative stress, which is omnipresent in our modern society. In order to limit oxidative stress and particularly the lesions it causes, effectively supplementing with antioxidants, associated with a balanced diet seems to be an appropriate solution for current lifestyles.
